Kendall Sykes practices family law and criminal defense, and also enjoys representing clients on civil and criminal appellate advocacy such as legal research, brief writing and oral argument.

 

With a background in family law, appellate advocacy and criminal defense matters, she is licensed to practice in all Oklahoma state courts, the Western District of Oklahoma and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.

 

Ms. Sykes previously consulted as a member of the legal team for the adoptive parents in the “Save Baby Veronica” case, involving the Indian Child Welfare Act, in the successful appeal to the United States Supreme Court. Ms. Sykes served as legal counsel for the adoptive parents in the “Bring Sonya Home” case out of Tennessee for which she appeared with her clients on the nationally televised program, “The View.”
